Seattle is situated on the Puget Sound, approximately 100 miles from the US/Canada border. It is surrounded by mountains and water, making for easy escape into the countryside. Federal Way's viewpoints boast spectacular vistas of both Seattle and the Sound. Seattle is famous for its cultural life, its port and its main export - technology. Most famous of all is the Space Needle, which gives views from 520 feet above the city. You can even dine in its rotating restaurant. Art lovers will appreciate Seattle's many galleries and museums while music-lovers can enjoy the more local attractions of the Federal Way Symphony and Centerstage Theatre company, who perform regularly at the Federal Way Arts Centre. If you prefer to relax, both Seattle and Federal Way have abundant parks and gardens. Then there's the monorail, aquarium and plenty of shops. Looking for a thrill? The Wild Waves and Enchanted Village theme park is nearby.

Whether it's summer water skiing in Puget Sound or winter snow skiing at Crystal Mountain, Federal Way and the legendary Pacific Northwest offer great recreational opportunities throughout the year. There is also easy access to Seattle with its lively music and arts scene.

Recently opened, the new campus provides bright spacious classrooms as well as excellent computer laboratories with internet and email access. Students also have access to the campus library facilities. In between lessons, students meet and chat in the common room areas.
